Joe Massie's floral designThe final will be held on the 24th and 25th October 2009 at the British Florist Association's Conference at The Paragon Hotel, Birmingham.

The Semi Final:

"Design and create a piece of jewellery to be worn at a summer ball to mark the European Year of Creativity and Innovation - Fresh flowers and foliage must predominate"

The BFA Marquee at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show 2009 saw 10 talented young florists competing for their place in the final. Our congratulations to everyone that took part; the competition was run to a very high standard, and the arrangements were beautiful - well done!

The overall winner of the ‘BFA Young Florist of the Year' will then have the honour of representing the UK at the 2010 Eurofleurs competition. This prestigious event is to be staged at next years RHS Tatton Park Flower Show, and will run from the 19th to 23rd July 2010.
