with Train to Gain
As the industry moves further into un-chartered waters with ever challenging times ahead, it is important to take stock and look at the implications for independent Retail Florists.
The British Florist Association are a series of Management Workshops to help florists develop new strategies and plans that respond to these future market conditions, aiming to improve your financial and competitive position.
The workshops look at the many future challenges and opportunities facing Independent Florists, with topics including:
- Managing in the recession
- Winning new and profitable customers
- Increasing customer transaction spend - 29 gifting occasions
- Improving your margin - protecting your Balance Sheet
- Next generation web development for Florists
- Emerging customer trends - Fair Trade, Ethical Shopping and Local Supply
- Targeting your most profitable customers
- In-store design, product ranging, point of sale and staff training
- How to differentiate vs. your local competitors
- Business efficiency - cash flow, waste, stock management, pricing and cost
- At each workshop we aim to achieve up to 15% business efficiency improvement and new business worth a minimum of £50,000 pa
The workshop is fully funded through the Train to Gain Leadership and Management Scheme, with up to £1000 funding from Train to Gain to develop your business leadership skills! This means that the BFA Management Workshop will cost you nothing to attend providing you meet the criteria detailed on the registration form. The first £500 is available for the above Management Workshop - a 2nd company delegate may attend the workshop free of charge.
